In the banking & trust area, Xiaohui Yao has represented ICBC, CDB, Australia & New Zealand Banking, Minsheng Trust, Everbright Trust, and CITIC Trust in handling some huge financial projects including Tianjin Beijiang Power Plant, Xinjiang Luobupo Kalium Plant, Zhuhai Yueyufeng Iron Ore Plant, and Beijing No. 8 Chang’an Avenue. He also serves as a permanent and special legal counselor for multiple financial institutes such as CITIC Bank, CDB, CMBC, CEB, Euroclear and others. In private equity area, Mr. Yao represented CDH fund, Standard Chartered PE Ltd, CNCB Investment, Hongyuan Yufu and other well-known PE funds with their investments in Chinese medical, manufacturing, finance, mining and other companies. He also helped some well-known companies finish their registration as fund managers with AMAC. In the IPO area, Mr. Yao has acted as legal counsel for two Henan manufacturing companies, some chemical companies, a Beijing high-tech company, for their Stock A IPO projects, and three companies for their Stock H IPO projects. For bond issuances, Mr. Yao has handled several large-sized bond issuance projects and served as legal counsel for issuers or underwriters such as China CITIC Group, CITIC Securities, CICC, and UBS Securities. For many years, Mr. Yao provided daily legal consultancy services for many financial institutions and large companies including China CITIC Bank, China Development Bank, China Everbright Bank, Euroclear Bank, Shanghai Baosteel Group and others. In addition, Mr. Yao also handles dozens of civil litigation cases and has accumulated rich litigation experience.
