Chris Zhu graduated from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics with bachelor degree in international economics law. Ms. Zhu has worked in Jingtian & Gongcheng since 2019 and was approved to be a partner by the firm in 2019. Prior to this, she worked at Paul Hastings Shanghai office for two (2) years as legal advisor, worked at Beijing Run Ming Law Firm Shanghai branch as an associate for two years, worked at Allen & Overy Shanghai office as associate for six (6) years, and worked at ESR Group as associate director in group legal department for two (2) years. Ms. Zhu specializes in real estate, merger and acquisition and foreign investment. In the area of real estate, Ms. Zhu has represented several offshore and domestic companies in their acquisition and merger projects, disposal projects, formation of JV and investment platform. Her clients in real estate area include KKR, ESR, AG, CBRE GI, Shui On Group, and Hilltop etc. Her other clients include Sinochem International. Ms. Zhu was admitted to PRC bar in 2006.
