Barbara is a corporate law partner. She advises corporates, family businesses, private equity investors and venture capital parties on M&A in the mid-market. She also advises on corporate law issues, such as corporate governance, deadlock situations at shareholder level and restructurings. She excels in bringing together the interests of all stakeholders, creativity and solving problems. Before starting at JanssenBroekhuysen, Barbara was a M&A partner at DLA Piper for 16 years and for which she also served on the international executive board. Barbara is also a lecturer in corporate law at the University of Leiden. She receives appointments as officer at companies that are subject to enquiry proceedings by the Enterprise Chamber of the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam. Barbara has a proven track record in M&A transactions. She won the award for Best M&A Lawyer in 2011 and is ranked #1 for Corporate and M&A/Mid-Market in Chambers.
