Erik Lopez has practiced corporate law at the highest levels for more than 25 years. He has successfully led domestic and multijurisdictional transactional matters with tens of billions of dollars in aggregate value. After 15 years of practice with some of the world’s most prestigious law firms, Mr. Lopez cofounded Jasso Lopez in 2015 to serve clients in need of outstanding legal counsel at reasonable cost. He prides himself on offering creative and pragmatic solutions to enable clients to focus on building profitable and thriving businesses. Mr. Lopez is admitted to practice law in California and New York. He is not admitted to practice in Texas. Mr. Lopez’s practice has included representation of all manner of business clients, including private equity funds, independent sponsors, investment advisers, Fortune 500 companies and early- and later-stage operating companies. He has led multidisciplinary teams in executing hundreds of complex M&A, private equity, corporate, commercial and securities transactions. He has advised clients in virtually all industries in a broad range of transactional and compliance matters.
