Laura Granelli focuses her practice on matters of education and municipal law, providing both general and labor counsel services to public school districts and libraries. She provides advice and counsel regarding virtually every legal issue that arises in educational and municipal settings, and is committed to practicing law with a high priority on service and integrity. Laura has led a number of professional seminars on such topics as sexual harassment, special education, student discipline, Dignity for All Students Act, and school and library elections, and frequently lectures on a variety of education and municipal law topics, including litigating versus settling special education disputes, navigating student discipline, board member free speech rights, school district reserve funds, and ethical considerations for representing school boards. She has also presented before the New York State Senate Education Committee and the State Education Department on topics such as Education Law ยง 3020-a reform and teacher evaluations.
