David Raes Bio

For over 20 years, David has been practicing law at Janson where he became partner in 2012. Aside from litigation work, he advises his clients in regulatory finance and developed a substantial expertise in crowdfunding, a field in which he authored major publications. His experience in the US (in the State of New York in 1994-1995 as an exchange student and his Master of Laws from Northwestern University in Chicago in 2000-2001) enables him to provide his clients with a full range of legal services in English. Assistant Professor at the Brussels University in the fields of civil obligations and contract law between 2006 and 2010, David is now a fellow at the business law Unit of the Center of private law of the Brussels University Law School since 2011.
