Mary Julie John specializes in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Foreign Direct Investment, Strategic Alliances and Joint Ventures in the Information Technology, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Manufacturing and Real Estate Sectors, Secured Finance in the Real Estate Sector and Overseas Investments. Her transactional practice includes advice on transaction structuring, entry strategies, contract negotiation and foreign exchange regulations. She excels in complex drafting, real estate acquisitions by sale, lease and leave and license, development and construction agreements, corporate governance, trademark and copyright infringement, employment law matters, including drafting of employment contracts, company policy documents, codes of conduct, employee handbooks and employees’ stock option plans, setting up of branch offices and liaison offices and corporate compliances. Mary has been practicing corporate law since 2006. Prior to joining JSA in 2009, she was previously with AZB & Partners.
