Bio

Ayisha Mansoor has been actively involved in diverse areas of General Corporate Commercial. She has advised both domestic & international clients on foreign direct investments into India, establishment of new business operations in India and liaising with Government Regulators in obtaining necessary approvals. She has been involved in numerous corporate transactions involving share acquisition. She also advises on areas relating to corporate secretarial & regulatory compliances under various applicable corporate laws. Ayisha is part of the Life Sciences, Healthcare and Pharma practice, with a focus on various aspects of health laws, including contract manufacturing and medical devices, and advisory with respect to registrations/approvals from drug regulatory agencies. She has worked extensively in the real estate sector including drafting of commercial lease agreements. She represents some of the largest developers in South India. She has also advised multinational companies and drafted agreements relating to units in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Her sector practice covers drafting, negotiating and finalizing: (a) construction contracts; (b) facility maintenance agreements; (c) leasing contracts for commercial, hospitality, recreational and warehousing spaces and; (d) sale transactions including acquisition and funding for the same. She also provides regular employment advisory in matters such as secondments for outbound assignments, POSH, retrenchment, transfer of employees and also assists clients in matters relating to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) trusts and foreign contribution related compliances. She had the opportunity of being seconded to Motorola Mobility, one of the leading smartphone makers worldwide, for a period between August 2014 and January 2016 for exclusive Motorola assignments. She was actively involved in consumer disputes, employment advisory, legal metrology and other related matters of the company. She also had the opportunity of being seconded to Nordex India, a leading developer and manufacturer of wind turbines, for a period between November 2018 and June 2019 for exclusive Nordex assignments. She also assisted the company with contracts pertaining to technical supply of wind turbines, operation and maintenance, development, aggregation of land and other related agreements for setting up of wind power plants. She has also been seconded to Hexaware Technologies, an IT service management company, for a period between July 2022 and September 2022, and assisted the company with technology contracts. She is also a visiting faculty at Mount Carmel College (Autonomous) Bangalore, where she teaches Media Laws to the undergraduate students of the Communications Study program. She has been practicing law since 2014.
