Aaron Walker is a partner in Ice Miller’s Business Group, focusing his practice on a broad range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and securities and capital market transactions. Aaron works frequently with private equity funds, publicly traded companies, and private companies in domestic and cross-border transactions involving mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and recapitalizations. Aaron regularly guides publicly traded companies toward compliance with federal securities laws and stock exchange rules, SEC reporting and disclosure issues, and corporate governance matters. He also provides counsel on public and private offerings of equity and debt securities and SPAC (special purpose acquisition corporation) transactions. Aaron graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan Journal of Race & Law. Aaron previously served as an adjunct professor of law at Texas A&M University School of Law where he taught a practical course on public companies and capital markets. Prior to a career in law, Aaron was a high school teacher at an Indianapolis-area charter school.
