Peter Dreher Bio

Peter is one of the firm’s Corporate, M&A and Major Projects Partners and also leads the firm’s Renewable Energy Group. He is a former National Head of the Firm’s Corporate Group and is now a member of the firm’s Board. Peter specialises corporate and commercial law matters, in particular structuring, mergers, sales and acquisitions of projects, businesses and companies, and commercial contracting. A core to Peter’s legal career has been major projects work, particularly in renewable energy, a sector in which Peter has advised in over 50 projects across Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand. Peter’s focus in these projects has been on the corporate, construction and operational aspects including structure, tendering, construction, project management documentation and undertakings to and for project and equity financiers. Peter’s diverse client base and international experience compliments his commercial insight and deep sector knowledge, making him a trusted advisor on high-value transactions and strategic ventures.
