Anthony Seyfort Bio

Anthony is a partner in the Corporate & Commercial Group. Anthony focuses on governance, transactions and strategic advice for government and regulated industries, and on business dealings between them. He represents clients in dealings with governments and regulators in relation to policy, regulatory change, approvals and negotiated outcomes. He advises on strategies for the management of regulatory risk and has considerable experience advising companies in crisis. In over 30 years in practice Anthony has been named in Best LawyersTM Australia, Legal 500 Asia Pacific, Doyle’s Guide, and Chambers and Partners. He has a large amount of “client” experience, as a former company secretary of a top-100 ASX listed company, a director, an audit committee member, an economic researcher and as local agent for a European financial institution. Anthony was State Chairman of the Governance Institute of Australia and has chaired, served on and/or advised various public sector boards and private sector industry associations.
