Andrew’s core areas of practice are all aspects of real estate and projects (including the acquisition of freehold and leasehold sites (as a going concern)), large scale construction, infrastructure and development projects (including procurement, planning and environment), commercial contracting (including supply and services agreements), transport (aviation), corporate structuring and compliance work for businesses. Possessing complementary tertiary qualifications in commerce (finance major), business experience and inhouse experience, Andrew retains a strong commercial and practical approach to meeting a client’s needs which extends beyond traditional commercial advice. Andrew’s experience has seen his appointment to the following positions: President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (NT); National Cabinet of the Urban Development Institute of Australia; Housing Alliance (NT) by appointment from the Northern Territory Government; Board of the Darwin Entertainment Centre; Independent Member of the Audit and Risk Committee for Tiwi Land Council; Commercial Law Committee of the Law Society of the Northern Territory; and a member of the National Electronic Conveyancing Subcommittee, Law Council of Australia.
