Joseph Horzepa is a partner and co-founder of the firm with extensive transactional experience that encompasses private equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing, internet law, cloud computing, SaaS and other online business practices, corporate governance, contract negotiation and review and employment matters. He has represented a wide variety of clients, including venture capital firms and emerging companies in the Internet, software and technology industries as well as in manufacturing, retail and e-commerce, telecommunications and energy industries. Prior to co-founding the firm, Joseph served as the General Counsel of a number of emerging private companies in the high-tech markets, including ThePlanet.com Internet Services, Inc., RLX Technologies, Inc., and PentaSafe Security Technologies, Inc. He began his career as an associate in the corporate department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in both their Houston and New York offices. Joseph is a graduate of Wesleyan University and a cum laude graduate of Brooklyn Law School and is licensed to practice in Texas.
