Andrew McCune Bio

Andrew McCune is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. Mr. McCune represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies on structuring and negotiating complex business transactions, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, control and growth equity financings, incentive plans and general corporate matters, with particular experience with respect to healthcare services transactions. Mr. McCune represents traditional committed fund sponsors as well as alternatively funded sponsors and investors, management teams, purchasers and sellers in diverse industries and market segments. He regularly acts as lead counsel for the portfolio companies of private equity fund clients on their strategic and commercial matters. In addition, Mr. McCune's experience encompasses numerous domestic and international leveraged transactions involving financial, as well as strategic parties. He also represents institutional co-investors and growth equity investors, and advises investment principals on a range of formation, organization and transition issues. Mr. McCune has handled numerous private equity, leveraged buyout (LBO), M&A and divestiture transactions for a variety of national and global private equity firms and their portfolio companies, as well as noncontrol and co-investments for U.S. and international private market investment management firms. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. McCune was a corporate attorney for a global law firm in its Chicago office.
