James Wood is an investment funds partner in our fully integrated global investment funds practice. He advises private capital participants on a broad range of private equity and funds transactions. James advises private equity houses and financial institutions on funds-related matters, offering noteworthy experience of multi-jurisdictional mandates. He is known for his depth and breadth of experience in dealing with international fundraising, having spent years as an investment funds specialist in London, UK. He has advised on the establishment of some of the largest and successful private equity funds globally, including EQT, Apax Partners, CVC Capital Partners. James is the Hogan Lovells Australia partner with primary responsibility for pro bono activities, and is the regional co-chair of the firm’s Global Ability and Inclusion Network (GAIN).
