Advising on unexplored new or difficult tax and accounting cases, like on the first toll-based highway infrastructure model, is what makes Ingmar Dorr love his job. As head of the Munich tax and accounting practice he and his team will be the perfect fit for your tax transactional activities. Ingmar can be a life-saver too – a lot of managing directors were taken out of the firing line with his help in self-disclosure and tax compliance (litigation, internal investigations, audits) proceedings. Being both a lawyer and a tax advisor, he merges a legal and economic mind and translates complex legal phrases into a solution driven advice that provides answers and not questions for businesses. With the experience from more than ten years of tax optimization for national and international clients, Ingmar gained particular knowledge in the industry sectors automotive, infrastructure, life sciences and health care and aviation. Ingmar came across the tax laws during an internship with the tax authorities when he was a student. His interest in this legal area was further drawn by one of his professors that was a judge in the Federal Finance Court in Munich. Ingmar wrote his doctoral thesis on the subject of European company taxation at the Max-Planck-Institute Munich for Intellectual Property, competition and tax law in Munich. Nowadays he is the author of numerous articles in tax journals.
