Richard Goulding co-chairs Hinckley Allen’s Sports & Entertainment Group. He specializes in the areas of aviation and commercial and real estate finance, serving as legal adviser to institutional lenders and borrowers in senior and subordinated debt financings. He also represents large financial institutions that provide trustee and agency services in secured and unsecured financing transactions, with a concentration on domestic and international project finance, corporate and municipal debt, mergers and acquisitions, and asset-backed securitizations. Rick works with financial institutions serving as trustee, administrative agent, collateral agent, intercreditor agent, account bank, escrow agent, and paying agent. Rick represents companies in all stages of their corporate life-cycle and advises clients on matters ranging from pre-incorporation planning to everyday corporate governance and operational questions to structuring and negotiating commercial transactions to strategic expansion, sophisticated financings, and exit transactions. Rick is also Vice Chair of the firm’s Cannabis Industry Group and has significant experience advising cannabis businesses in a wide range of corporate matters as well as financings and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to law school, Rick worked as a White House intern on the National Economic Council in the Executive Office of the President of the United States, and served on the Advisory Board for the Town of Norwell from 2019 to 2022.
