Michael Kahme is the Managing Partner of Hill Wallack LLP and has held that position since 2015. Mr. Kahme is also the founding partner of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights/Bankruptcy practice group which represents financial institutions in all aspects of creditors rights in federal and State courts in multiple jurisdictions. Mr. Kahme concentrates his practice in all matters of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, including workouts, commercial foreclosures, asset purchases, receivership actions, pendente lite sales, lender liability lawsuits, representation of secured creditors in bankruptcy cases, commercial litigation and fraud litigation. Mr. Kahme also has represented institutional purchasers of assets and businesses out of bankruptcy estates. Mr. Kahme has also represented purchasers and sellers of residential and commercial loans in lots ranging from one loan to hundreds of loans. Mr. Kahme is admitted to practice in all federal and State courts in New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, all State courts in New York, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Kahme earned his law degree from the University Of Miami School Of Law in 1985 with a Juris Doctorate degree and is a 1982 graduate of the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
