Ryan Tan Bio

Ryan is a partner whose practice areas cover corporate finance, asset finance, project finance and leasing structures particularly in the maritime, transportation and energy sectors. In his more than 10 years of experience, Ryan has represented lenders, borrowers, lessors and lessees across a wide breadth of transactions on non-contentious matters relating to bank loans, lease financings, ECA-backed facilities, debt restructurings, sale and purchase transactions, and review of shipbuilding contracts and charterparty agreements. Equipped with bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, he has a strong track record notably in advising both lessors and lessees in cross-border sale and leaseback transactions involving PRC leasing houses. Ryan obtained a 2nd class honours (Upper) Bachelor of Laws degree from the National University of Singapore in 2010. He is dual qualified in Singapore and Hong Kong.
