Jonathan Goacher career has taken him to New York, London and Asia, latterly Singapore where he has now been based for several years. He is an Asia specialist, having spent over 20 years assisting his clients throughout the region, including in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. Jonathan’s experience includes advising and assisting clients on US and other trade sanctions; anti-bribery/anti-corruption matters; data protection; anti-money laundering regulations; senior manager and personal accountability regimes; and licensing, foreign business restrictions and other regulations applicable to new business establishment. Jonathan’s clients mainly come from the insurance industry, and he is regularly instructed by insurers, P&I clubs, reinsurers, brokers, adjusters, TPAs and insurtech operators. He has also been seconded to the operations of a global insurance group and one of the world’s largest insurance brokerages.
