Gary Wong Bio

Gary is a partner in the ship finance team. His particular expertise covers ship finance and leasing work and ship sale and purchase. He also has extensive experience in yacht matters. Prior to joining the firm, Gary has been Partner and an associate at other prominent law firms. He has many years’ experience in acting for banks and financial institutions, shipbuilders, shipowners on a broad range of transactions. Gary is a dual qualified solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales. Gary is a specialist in cross—border asset finance, secured lending and restructuring. He also handles a wide scope of commercial shipping work ranging from sale and purchase, newbuilding contracts (including conversion and yacht building contracts) and ship management agreements.
