Anthony Paizes Bio

Anthony is the head of ship finance in our Piraeus office. He advises banks and shipowners in relation to their financing arrangements, as well as other non-contentious matters. Anthony provides assistance in connection with ship sale and purchase, newbuilding and charterparty matters. He also has a wealth of experience in corporate and commercial law and in establishing and dealing with offshore corporate vehicles and trust structures, advising on corporate reorganisations, etc. Anthony assists in drafting joint venture contracts, shareholders’ agreements as well as advising on commercial contracts. Anthony completed his bachelor of arts and bachelor of laws degrees at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. In 2010 he completed a diploma in ship finance from North Kent College.
