Sam Hilburn was born and raised in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. After graduating from Walnut Ridge High School, he attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he was a scholarship football player, president of the student body and member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He next attended the University of Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. While at law school, he was a charter member and president of the Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity-Joe T. Robinson Chapter. Sam is a founding and senior partner at Hilburn & Harper, Ltd. and has been with the firm since 1971. His past work experience includes being the City Attorney of North Little Rock and serving as Municipal Judge of the North Little Rock Municipal Court following an appointment by Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Additionally, Sam previously served on the Board of Trustees at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville following an appointment by Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Sam enjoys practicing in family law and administrative law. Further, he always relishes the opportunity to vigorously advocate for his clients in litigation.
