Randy Grice was born and raised in Parkdale, Arkansas, where he grew up working on his dad’s farm. After graduating as valedictorian from Hamburg High School in 1986, he attended the University of Central Arkansas where he graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. After college, he attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree while graduating with honors. While attending law school, he was on Law Review and was awarded top papers in Corporations and Property. Randy is a partner at Hilburn & Harper, Ltd. and has been with the firm as an attorney since 1993. He practices in various courts throughout the state of Arkansas, including district (formerly municipal) courts, county circuit courts, the Arkansas Court of Appeals, the Arkansas Supreme Court, Federal Bankruptcy Courts and Federal District Courts. Randy’s primary areas of practice are debtor-creditor relations, commercial litigation, banking law, construction law, municipal law and general corporate/business law. He represents creditors in their pursuit of debtors who have defaulted on loan obligations including foreclosure, replevin and deficiency actions. He also represents creditors in Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Additionally, he is responsible for reviewing and advising clients on the effect and enforceability of various business documents including but not limited to various types of loan documents, business leases, purchase agreements and employment contacts. He also represents various lending institutions, corporations and other business organizations in defending lawsuits against them or filing lawsuits when necessary, including lender liability lawsuits and breach of contract actions. Randy is the former City Attorney for the city of Lonoke, Arkansas (1995-2008), and current City Attorney for the city of Beebe, Arkansas (July 2018-Present).
