Rabbe Sittnikow is a partner within the firm's M&A practice in Helsinki with a focus on infrastructure and energy related matters. He joined the firm in 1999 and became a partner in 2007. He has over 20 years of experience of corporate law and various private and public M&A deals, most of which have involved a cross-border element. A significant amount of the deals have also involved either private equity funds directly or private equity backed companies. Rabbe has a vast experience advising clients within the defence sector as well as considerable experience from infrastructure and energy related deals, having advised on all major Finnish transport and social road and railway PPP projects and some of the largest Finnish electricity distribution network deals as well as in relation to the planned Finnish nuclear power plant projects. He has also advised on a number of Finnish renewable energy transactions. He has also considerable experience in advising clients in the defence and security sectors. Rabbe is acting as an Officer and as a Member of the Advisory Board of the International Bar Association’s M&A and Corporate Committee. He spent 1.5 years during 2008-2009 as a resident partner at Hannes Snellman’s office in Moscow advising foreign clients on Russia related M&A and corporate matters.
