Benny Sham has over 15 years of professional practice experience advising clients in all areas of general corporate and commercial and IT/IP law. He is valued by clients for his calm and considered approach, particularly in complex and time sensitive matters. Benny has extensive experience advising Australian and offshore clients on ASX listings, capital raisings (including initial public offerings and secondary raisings) and public and private M&A transactions. Benny also holds a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Computer Science) and Master of Laws specialising in intellectual property and acts on a range of intellectual property and technology matters. He has worked across a variety of industries, including life sciences/biotech, hospitality, fast-moving consumer goods, resources, automotive, and technology and advises clients across all parts of their life cycle from start-ups to ASX listed companies through technology transfer, IP and brand protection, commercialisation, capital raisings and exit. Prior to joining Hamilton Locke, Benny worked for global law firm Jones Day.
