Andrea Foschi has worked in the reference institutional sector, both for general and professional associations, and has held the offices of President of both the Unione Giovani Locale (Local Youth Union) and President of the Bar of Parma, and subsequently of member of the National Council of Chartered Accountants, until 2021, and Secretary General of the National Foundation of Chartered Accountants until a part of 2022. Within the National Council, he was responsible for company crisis and reorganisation, in his capacity as a member of the “Rordorf 2” Ministerial Commission set up at the Legislative Office of the Ministry of Justice by Decree of the Minister of Justice on 5 October 2017, which drafted the first draft of the “Codice della Crisi” (Crisis Code). He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the OIC (Organismo Italiano di Contabilità- Italian Accounting Body), serving as standard setter for national accounting matters, for two terms. He is member of the Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts at the Parma Chamber of Commerce since 1992 under no. 341/A and he is registered as an auditor under no. 24657. He has been also included in the list of CTUs (Court-Appointed Experts) at the Court of Parma under no. 449 since 1993. Professionally, he mainly acts as a member of Boards of Statutory Auditors (from time to time, also in companies subject to the control of Bank of Italy), he is often also in charge of statutory audits and 231 bodies (i.e. bodies set up in compliance with decree 231/2001). He also acts as a member of management and/or administrative bodies, also in accordance with appointments pursuant to Art. 2409 of the civil code or in the context of turnaround procedures as a member of management and control bodies as an "independent third party" serving as coordinator to advisors. He also acts as a bankruptcy receiver and has participated in numerous reorganisation procedures both in his capacity as petitioner and certifying professional, as well as Commissioner (Commissario) and Judicial Liquidator (Liquidatore Giudiziale).
