James Hoctor Bio

Jim Hoctor focuses on all aspects of corporate and business transactions, including the formation, structuring, reorganization, sale, and purchase of businesses and related tax issues. In his 32 year career, Jim has closed numerous merger and acquisition transactions across a wide number of industries. He also provides general counsel to closely-held companies with regard to a wide range of legal issues. Jim has significant experience with negotiating and forming joint ventures for real estate investment and development projects. He also has experience in representing clients with respect to capital raising transactions for real estate projects and operating businesses.
