Aimee Halfyard Bio

Aimee Halfyard is the Co-Chair of Global Tech and a partner in Gowling WLG's Business Law Group in the Vancouver office. Her practice focuses primarily on private mergers & acquisitions, private equity, corporate commercial transactions and corporate governance. Aimee advises multinational corporations, private equity funds, and start-up companies in various sectors on a wide range of complex domestic and cross-border corporate transactional matters, including asset and share acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, and spin-offs. Immediately prior to joining Gowling WLG, Aimee was the general counsel of a global technology company headquartered in Vancouver, where she gained valuable hands-on experience advising the executive and business teams on long-term strategic planning. Aimee is a creative thinker and understands the need to find legal solutions that balance business risks and opportunities.
