Mr. Gill is a seasoned litigator with more than 25 years of experience in California courts. He is an accomplished trial attorney who regularly represents Fortune 100 companies and other large multinational corporations. His practice focuses on products liability litigation, mass torts, catastrophic personal injury cases, and employment actions. As a prominent litigator, Mr. Gill has a reputation for developing innovative litigation approaches and aggressively litigating cases in a cost-efficient manner. He has superior analytical skills and the ability to simplify the most complex of legal issues. This allows him to quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of a case and develop winning litigation strategies. Indeed, his superior litigation tactics have consistently secured favorable results for his clients which far exceed those obtained by similarly situated parties. Mr. Gill has first-chaired numerous jury trials and argued “landscape-changing” appeals, and has served as National Coordinating Counsel for large corporations embroiled in high-risk mass litigation. He has managed elite and highly successful litigation groups, including very robust groups that were tasked with defending hundreds of active lawsuits annually. In the 1990s, he joined the Canadian-American Chamber of Commerce and was editor of the Cross-Border Business Bulletin. In 2012, he wrote a chapter on cross-examination techniques for PLI’s textbook, Expert Witnesses Answer Book (2012). Throughout his practice, he has spoken at several seminars and conferences on litigation-related topics. Mr. Gill is admitted to the bars of California, Ontario (inactive), and British Columbia (retired member). He was a top-tier graduate in law school, placed first in his undergraduate class, and was a Rhodes Scholarship finalist.
