Patrick K. Burns is a Partner in Gordon & Rees’ Commercial Litigation and Employment Law practice groups. He has significant litigation and trial experience in state and federal courts in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland. Mr. Burns has successfully represented commercial businesses in a variety of litigation matters, involving a diverse range of issues, such as employment, wage and hour claims, defamation, corporate defense, class action defense, and contractual disputes. Adept at handling matters through all phases of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Burns works closely with small and large business clients to develop strategies that protect them and their corporate interests. While Mr. Burns has substantial experience working with clients across many industries, his practice has a particular focus on the construction, franchise, information technology, and government contracting industries, including bid protests at the Government Accountability Office.
