Kiersten A. Martindale is a Partner in the Environmental/Toxic Tort practice group of Gordon & Rees' San Diego office. She specializes in the defense of complex environmental claims, and mass toxic tort and product liability actions. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Ms. Martindale was an associate in a boutique insurance defense firm where she focused on insurance coverage, general civil litigation, coverage and bad faith actions. She also has prior experience in a variety of law firms both in San Diego and in the Bay Area. Prior to law school, she worked for a well-known law firm in the Bay Area specializing in asbestos and toxic tort litigation, which is where her passion for this area of law began. Additionally, her experience includes serving as a law clerk with an international wine company based in Napa and interning for a prominent law firm servicing the wine industry, also in Napa Valley. Ms. Martindale graduated cum laude and order of the coif from the University of San Diego School of Law, with a concentration in civil litigation. Prior to law school, Ms. Martindale attended the University of California, Berkeley where she was an active member of the student government and Delta Delta Delta sorority.
