Jay Blumenkopf is a top litigator directing the defense of Fortune 500 corporations and insurance companies in Employment, ERISA life, health, disability and bad faith matters across the US. Clients appreciate his direct, no-nonsense approach where he quickly assimilates the case facts and analyses the viability of claims. Mr. Blumenkopf accurately identifies and develops a case strategy, including the determination of whether potential early resolution or settlement is appropriate. Mr. Blumenkopf’s reputation and legal acumen was recognized when he was invited to be a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society limited to fewer than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Mr. Blumenkopf is also a frequent lecturer and has served on the Advisory Board of the Bureau of National Affairs, Inc., Civil Trial Manual and has been a faculty member at New York Law School, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and the Hofstra Law School Trial Techniques Program. Mr. Blumenkopf has authored numerous articles in legal publications. Mr. Blumenkopf cares about his clients and fellow man, and is driven to leave a meaningful personal mark in the human community. From supporting children in Africa by sponsoring their education and contributing to the support of their families, to his work as past president and current board member of One Heart World-Wide, a third world infant and maternal health charity founded at the request of the Dalai Lama.
