Bio

Glenn LeMay is a partner in the Business Transactions, Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy practice groups in Gordon & Rees’s Houston office. In practice for over 30 years, Mr. LeMay has served the business and litigation needs of a broad range of commercial clients, in areas including the construction, manufacturing, industrial, healthcare and professional service industries, as well as numerous physician groups and healthcare providers. Mr. LeMay has trial, appellate, mediation and arbitration experience, in state and federal court, defending and prosecuting claims on behalf of commercial clients in corporate, construction, and bankruptcy matters. In addition, Mr. LeMay is panel counsel for several major international insurers and defends E&O and D&O claims for clients in various industries, including accountants, auditors, title companies, business advisors, financial consultants, casualty adjusters, property managers and debt collection agencies. Mr. LeMay has extensive experience in Chapter 11 commercial bankruptcy cases, including representing creditors in prosecution and defense of claims, by creditors and trustees, and has extensive experience counseling clients on bankruptcy considerations related to their business operations. Mr. LeMay also has significant experience handling securities disputes before FINRA (and NASD prior to FINRA) related to broker-dealers, including claims involving misrepresentations, unauthorized transactions, unsuitable investments, commission churning, and excessive mark-ups, in cases involving stocks, bonds, “penny” stocks, commodities, mutual funds, REITs, options, derivative securities, and other alternative investments. Prior to his legal practice, in the late 1970’s, Mr. LeMay held the position of lead Municipal Bond Trader for the largest bank in Houston.
