Chris Hawk is a partner at Gordon & Rees and actively practices in Oregon and Washington. Mr. Hawk is a seasoned civil litigator with significant experience handling all aspects of litigation; from the initial pleadings through trial. In recent years, he has been actively involved in several intellectual property trials in the Northwest. He has also successfully defended a flooring contractor in a six-figure binding arbitration personal injury case. Mr. Hawk handles small single-claimant administrative actions to the large complex multistate class action cases across all of Oregon and Washington. He has a diversity of practice areas, including employment law (litigation and advice), professional liability (accountants, mental healthcare professionals, architects, engineers, attorneys, etc.), intellectual property (copyright/trademark), commercial litigation (cybersecurity), consumer protection class action (FCRA, TCPA, FDCPA), and tort and product liability (personal injury and premises liability). A native of Rye, New York, Mr. Hawk practiced civil litigation in Los Angeles for nearly seven years (including five years with Gordon & Rees), prior to moving to Portland in 2005. He then clerked for Oregon U.S. District Court Judge, Anna J. Brown, before opening the Gordon & Rees Portland office in 2006.
