Brian M. Ledger is a partner working out of the Los Angeles and San Diego offices, where his practice focuses on Environmental and Toxic Tort Law. Following receipt of a B.S. degree, magna cum laude, in Environmental Science, Mr. Ledger completed a Master's degree program in Environmental and Occupational Health Science at UCLA, where he received highest honors in Toxicology and Epidemiology. Before attending law school, Mr. Ledger worked as an environmental consultant for Clayton Environmental Services, and for the U.S. Department of Labor - Occupational Safety Health Administration as an industrial hygiene compliance officer inspecting work places for potential chemical exposure violations. Mr. Ledger's law practice has focused on environmental and toxic tort litigation, land use, and regulatory compliance. His experience encompasses a broad range of environmental laws, including hazardous substances laws (e.g., CERCLA and RCRA), the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the Polanco Act, Underground Storage Tank laws, Proposition 65, the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act, Occupational Safety and Health laws, Land Use law, and common law toxic tort actions. Mr. Ledger has also counseled clients in real estate transactions with environmental issues, and in various land use problems, including those requiring zoning variances.
