Bio

Barry Flynn is a partner with Gordon & Rees, practicing in the Houston and Dallas offices. Mr. Flynn also is a member of the Commercial Litigation, White Collar Criminal Defense, Employment, Labor and Franchise practice groups. Throughout his 40-year career he has successfully tried approximately 85 cases to jury verdict and/or final arbitration award in Texas and several other states. Prior to joining Gordon & Rees, Mr. Flynn was the senior partner of the law firm of Flynn & Thayer, P.C. He began his legal practice in 1977 with the Houston firm of Fulbright & Jaworski. He is board certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Flynn is a member of the Board of Trustees, Secretary and Vice President of Houston's Star of Hope Mission. In addition, Mr. Flynn is a member of the Board of Trustees of Biblica International, Inc. He is the father of three sons, all of whom are lawyers as well.
