Andy Castricone is a partner in the San Francisco office of Gordon & Rees and serves as the firm’s National Practice Group Leader for Privacy, Data & Cybersecurity. He is also a member of the Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Professional Liability practice groups. Mr. Castricone has substantial experience in litigating complex matters through trial in state and federal courts. While his background covers a broad spectrum, Mr. Castricone manages a dynamic caseload in the areas of privacy; intellectual property, copyright and trademark infringement; misappropriation of trade secrets; unfair competition and interference; statutory governance, compliance and violation; consumer protection and products liability; CAN-SPAM; TCPA; breach of fiduciary duty and other claims against directors and officers; professional liability; hardware, software, internet, domain name, licensing & royalty disputes; banking and finance; defamation, SLAPP suits, and trade libel; commercial and residential real estate/rent control; corporate/partnership disputes/dissolution and protection of limited liability and individual assets; securities, SEC violations, and broker-dealer liability; employment; and insurance. His diverse practice area includes the resolution of a variety of business disputes, ranging from individuals with a contractual disagreement to class actions with multi-million dollar claims.
