Amy Maclear is a partner in Gordon & Rees’s San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on complex and multi-party business and commercial disputes involving data security, professional liability, and product liability and warranty litigation. She also defends companies and their principals, in a variety of contexts including ERISA claims, franchise law, trusts and estates, and both federal and state fair debt collection practice actions. She also further regularly represents clients in business and contractual disputes involving claims for defamation and fraud. Throughout her practice, she has also developed considerable experience in real estate litigation and regularly represents homeowner associations, both residential and commercial landlords and tenants, and real estate professionals. Ms. Maclear's clients cover a wide range of businesses and professions, such as environmental, health care, education, technology, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, and real estate. She has served as second chair trial counsel in a product liability lawsuit involving one of the big three auto manufacturers.
