Sinead Rafferty has worked at some of the largest firms in the country, and has over 10 years of experience in entrepreneurship, corporate, business, management, employment, tort and startup. Sinead has the breadth and depth of experience needed to quickly understand entrepreneurs’ businesses and craft the most suitable solutions. Sinead focuses her practice on business litigation and counseling including matters concerning intellectual property, e-commerce, online speech and conduct. She is currently part of the team prosecuting a Lanham Act claim against Google in Florida federal court and a Lanham Act claim against a sporting goods manufacturer in New York federal court. Sinead also has experience counseling healthcare companies regarding issues related to risk management, credentialing, medical staff, peer review, physician recruitment, patient care issues, medical staff bylaws, employment and business-related issues. She is a guest lecturer at academic institutions in the areas of Start-Up law and medical risk management. Prior to joining Gora LLC in 2016, Sinead practiced civil litigation for almost a decade at premier law firms in CT, where she was a member of several trial teams. During law school, Sinead was a corporate intern at Zhong Lun Law Firm in Beijing, China, where she assisted in a World Bank study to provide suggestions on the amendment of China’s Company Act to the Legal Affairs Office of the State Counsel of China. Before entering law school, Sinead was a litigation paralegal at a top tier international law firm in NYC.
