Jessica Bishop Bio

Jessica Bishop is a partner in a business law group at Goodmans. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law with a focus on complex commercial technology transactions. Jessica represents financial institutions, insurance companies, technology service providers, pension funds, government agencies and companies in the asset management, health care, energy, securities, and other sectors which are involved in the development, acquisition and use of technology. Jessica has extensive experience advising clients on technology procurement, outsourcing, cloud computing, payment systems, licensing, fintech, digital and e-commerce solutions, software development and systems implementation, data processing and privacy compliance. Jessica also advises on a range of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and blockchain. In 2021, Jessica was honoured as one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40.
