Jaclyn Seidman Bio

Jaclyn Seidman is a partner, member of the Executive Committee, co-head of a business law group, and co-chair of the Women’s Success Committee at Goodmans. Her practice focuses on entertainment law, intellectual property and a broad range of corporate/commercial matters. Jaclyn represents major U.S., international and Canadian studios, broadcasters, producers, literary, and business clients on a broad range of media-related matters, including rights acquisitions, production legal matters, clearance and copyright matters. Jaclyn is also a corporate/commercial lawyer who regularly acts on a broad range of transactions, including acquisitions, complex licensing arrangements and advises on a wide range of business operations matters. In 2018, Jaclyn was honoured as one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40. She is recognized by Chambers Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, The Legal 500 Canada and Best Lawyers in Canada as a leading entertainment lawyer.
