Eduardo Martinez-Matosas Ruiz De Alda is a Tax partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. He is located in the Barcelona office. He has extensive experience in providing advice to multinational groups and private equity funds in their acquisitions, divestments and cross-border restructurings. He also has extensive experience in MBO/LBO transactions, transfer pricing policies of multinationals, private client/wealth management, sports law and tax litigation. His areas of expertise are: international taxation and international tax planning, international mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, internationalization of Spanish companies, transfer pricing and structuring of private equity funds. He holds a law degree from ESADE and a Master’s degree in Business Law, specializing in Tax Law, also from ESADE. Eduardo is recognised in the prestigious legal directory Chambers and Partners as one of the leading professionals in the areas of Tax, Wealth Management and Private Equity. He is a regular speaker at international conferences, such as the International Bar Association (IBA), the American Bar Association (ABA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He regularly publishes articles on international taxation in several specialized magazines (Tax Notes International), and is currently Spanish Reporter for The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc (Bloomberg BNA).
