Bio

Alvaro Mateo Sixto is Partner, head of Corporate and member of the Board of Directors at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. Between September 2015 and November 2016, Álvaro was seconded to Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He specialises in commercial law, M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions and joint ventures, both domestic and cross-border. He holds a law degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela and Salzburg Universität. He studied at the Academy of American and International Law, Southwestern Institute for International and Comparative Law, in Dallas, Texas. Álvaro is recognised in Chambers & Partners. He has participated as an author or coauthor in several specialised legal publications.
