Bio

Alexander Kolb is a partner at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo’s Corporate team. Alexander’s practice focuses on advising on complex and strategic M&A transactions, including both public (including takeover bids, public-to-private transactions and mergers) and private M&A, as well as private equity. Before joining Gómez-Acebo & Pombo, Alexander spent over 20 years working at the Spanish offices of global law firms. Alexander has been recognised throughout the 2012 to 2022 editions of the legal directories Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 as a leading individual in the Corporate and M&A practice. Alexander holds a degree in Law, with a Minor in Business Administration, from CEU San Pablo University, a BA (Hons) in Business Administration from South Bank University (London) and has pursued a PhD studies in Law (achieving the Diploma in Advanced Studies) at UNED University. He has authored or co-authored several papers and articles in specialised publications.
