Bio

Mark Goglia advises emerging growth and Fortune 500 companies, focusing on public and private M&A/takeovers, corporate governance, joint ventures, initial public offerings (IPOs), and other registered securities offerings. Mark has substantial experience in the energy, technology, and retail sectors. He represented independent oil refiner Alon USA Energy in its initial public offering and subsequent acquisitions of the Krotz Springs, Paramount, and Edgington oil refineries. He has also advised Turnbridge Capital with respect to its recapitalization of Pipe Pros and Flare Industries with respect to its acquisition of Jordan Technologies. He represented Texas Instruments in its $6.5 billion acquisition of analog device and subsystems specialist National Semiconductor and has advised technology companies such as Cisco Systems, i2 Technologies, and Micron with respect to M&A, joint venture, and other corporate transactions. He represented Albertsons in its acquisitions of Shaw's Supermarkets and Bristol Farms and in its $16 billion sale to SuperValue, CVS, and other investors. Mark has assisted issuers and underwriters in IPOs of more than 15 companies, including the IPOs of A.C. Moore Arts and Crafts, AHL Services, C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Comfort Systems USA, FlashNet, NEON Systems, and Waste Industries. Representative clients in recent years include ACS, Alon Israel Oil Company, Blue Square Israel, Cybera, Electrical Components International (ECI), Kaiser Aluminum, Kinko's, Latrobe Specialty Metals, Maverick Capital, Minyard Food Stores, Overhead Door, RealFoundation, RedBird Capital, StarDyne Technologies, Turnbridge Capital, and Viasystems. Mark is actively involved in the Dallas/Ft. Worth community, serving on the executive board of Camp John Marc.
