Jan heads the Private Equity sector group of Gleiss Lutz. Jan advises on M&A transactions specializing in cross-border and private equity transactions. This includes in particular sell and buy side mandates as well as advice on joint ventures. His practice further includes advice on venture capital investments and general corporate work. He also has extensive experience in merger control matters. Jan studied at the universities of Konstanz, Vichy/Clermont-Ferrand and Virginia (LL.M.). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2012. Jan is a member of the International Bar Association and of the association of German antitrust lawyers (Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht). He speaks German, English and French.
