Dr. Andreas Löhdefink Bio

Andreas primarily advises domestic and international clients on M&A for financial institutes and insurance companies as well as M&A in general. He also advises on corporate law and capital markets along with financial supervisory matters. Andreas studied in Fribourg, Geneva and Düsseldorf (Dr. iur). He has been a partner at Gleiss Lutz since 2019. He previously worked for an international law firm and is also admitted as Solicitor in England and Wales. Andreas is a regular lecturer and speaker on corporate law, M&A and capital market related matters. He is a visiting lecturer at the EBS University Law School and regularly lectures at the University of Frankfurt. He is a member of the Gesellschaftsrechtlichen Vereinigung (VGR), Deutsch-Amerikanischen Juristen-Vereinigung e.V. (DAJV), Deutsch-Britischen Juristenvereinigung e.V. and the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V.
