Laura Sommaruga Bio

Laura Sommaruga, partner of the Firm, is head of the Public Law department. Laura has a significant experience in several sectors of administrative law, from public procurement to environmental law, from healthcare law to public-private partnerships, with particular focus on building and town planning matters, where she provides advice and judicial and extra-judicial assistance to public authorities and national and international clients. Before joining Gitti and Partners, Laura has been a partner of a leading boutique law firm in Milan specialized in administrative law. In 2020 Laura has been mentioned in The Legal 500 (2020 Edition), category “Public Law”. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Milan in 1999 and was admitted to the Italian Bar as avvocato in 2003.
