Camilla Ferrari is partner of the Firm, where she collaborates since its foundation, and she deals mainly with civil and commercial law, assisting in the drafting of legal opinions and contracts. She advises in relation to ordinary and extraordinary corporate transactions as well as to listing operations, public tender offers on behalf of issuers and underwriters. She also specialises in issues related to the regulation of the utilities and energy sectors, with particular reference to the electricity and gas area, advising leading domestic and foreign operators. After having graduated with honours from the Università degli Studi di Pavia and having spent a period, as visiting scholar, at the University of Pennsylvania Law School (USA), she achieved the PHD in civil law at the Università degli Studi di Torino in 2004. Since 2005 she is a private law researcher in the Faculty of Economy of the Università dell’Insubria in Varese, where she teaches banking and financial contracts’ law. She is the author of several essays and publications concerning contracts and corporate law, including a recent monograph titled The contracts of regulated markets (Giappichelli, Torino, 2018). Prior to joining Gitti and Partners, she had worked for more than ten years for an Italian boutique firm and, even before, she was a trainee lawyer at the Milan branch of a primary International law firm.
